Ozkoclar Otel

The location made getting around easy: the train station is a three-minute walk, Ereğli Park Site mall is five minutes away, and the town center and its nice marketplace are about ten minutes on foot. There's a Şok next door and a Migros across the street. Ereğli's mild weather makes walking around town pleasant. I stayed in a penthouse room overlooking a park full of beautiful trees. Breakfast was superb, especially the tangerine juice and grape jam, and the staff were lovely. The hotel itself is a distinctive vintage building, partly wooden and turned into a boutique hotel. When I arrived, a cat was asleep on a bamboo chair on the entrance veranda. A stray cat or dog around the home is always a good sign of hospitality.

The staff were very helpful, and the hotel was clean and focused on keeping customers satisfied. I hope to stay here again soon.

By Ereğli standards, it's the best of the lot... :))
