The view really is lovely and peaceful, just as the name suggests, and the rooms were clean and reasonably comfortable. Breakfast let the stay down, with too little choice and disappointing quality. A few changes could make this a much better experience.

Breakfast was very basic, with hardly any variety, and the neon sign above the entrance sent lots of flashing light into the area. We also got bed bug bites in both beds in Room 101.

The service and price were good, and some rooms and the restaurant look out over the Porsuk River and its trees. It is one of the hotels right along the riverbank. The rooms could use repairs, though, and the cleaning needs to improve.

We found the location ideal, close to the city centre, and the staff were helpful. Breakfast was good too. I'd recommend it, especially for families.

The location is the one thing this hotel has going for it. The bed was uncomfortable, there was no shower gel, and noise carried from other rooms. Breakfast was such a disaster that we went elsewhere to eat.
