Mandarin & Mango Boutique Hotel

Those four nights at the Mandarin & Mango Boutique Hotel went by too fast. We loved the food, especially the wonderful dinners that came with our half-board stay. Breakfast was excellent too. The rooms had everything we needed, and the little hotel made a lovely base for seeing the region and its ancient sites. We really didn't want to leave.

We spent nearly two weeks at Mango in one of the private villas, with a beautiful sunrise view each morning. The team were so attentive and had good suggestions whenever we wanted a beach outing or something to do. Dinner was a real treat, a varied five-course meal. Such a great holiday, and I'd recommend it for families or friends travelling together.

I could happily spend all day by the pool with a book. The place is peaceful and has a homely feel, and the staff are warm, thoughtful and very attentive. The five-course dinners were a highlight, with sunset views across the forest and sea. There are several beaches you can walk to, and more are about a 15-minute drive away. Buses pass right by the hotel often, and taxis are available too. Oludeniz is also around 15 minutes by car, with boats, bars, restaurants, paragliding and more. I had a really relaxing week, just what I needed. I'd recommend staying with family or a group of friends. Huge thanks to Ghislain, Aysegul, Bilge, Fatima, Ilkay and the rest of the team!

For a hotel charging this much and presenting itself as high end, this was really disappointing. There was no WiFi in the rooms, no water when we arrived, the hot water was unreliable, and the jacuzzi wasn't working properly. The hardest part was trying to find an English-speaking staff member to talk through the problems.
