The exterior is magnificent and the pool superb, but I definitely wouldn't return because of the attitude and lack of hospitality. When I booked, it turned out the address was for Calis Beach, where there was no accommodation by this name. I tried the listed numbers several times without getting through, then spent more than four hours with Expedia customer care without help. I finally got a reply after adding the number on WhatsApp, and learned the place was Lale Apart Fethiye, 1.7km from Calis Beach. At first the host refused card payment and insisted on cash. I was about to leave when I was allowed to pay by card. If you book, be aware that towels and toiletries, including soap, shampoo, and toilet roll, aren't provided. The host was arrogantly condescending, and seemed to prefer hosting local Turkish people over foreigners. The three-bedroom duplex was on the second floor. It had a lounge with an open-plan kitchen, a gas stove, large fridge, and washing machine, but no oven or grill. The gas lighter was empty, and the hostess refused to refill it or give us another. There was a nice balcony overlooking the pool. On that floor were a bathroom with a walk-in shower, toilet, and basin, a twin room, and a double room. All areas had air conditioning. Stairs led up to an attic room with three single beds, a balcony, air conditioning, and a bathroom that smelled extremely damp and couldn't be used.

The place was relatively good otherwise, but it ended up being just a bed for me during a business trip, and I didn't want to spend more time there. If this hadn't been a work trip, the stay could have been worse. The wifi was weak, especially in the evenings, so don't count on working or even watching a low-quality movie. Be ready to use LTE. There were no towels or toilet paper, and the cutlery was poor. One day I watched a rat take a dip in the swimming pool. The owner held a deposit and returned it when I left. I tried unsuccessfully to understand how utilities were charged, though the amount was reasonable in the end. For a couple of days there was noise outside, as the windows were poor and locals were having a party nearby. Through the bars on the windows, you could see a beautiful mountain view.

We had a very nice vacation at lale apart. It felt peaceful, clean, cozy, and family-like. Mrs.Savsun, the person in charge, was welcoming and cooperative, and looked after everyone well. The swimming pool was very clean. We'll definitely visit lale apart again.

It was the middle of October, with rainy days, and there was no hot water at all. Nobody warned us, and we'd paid for the whole stay in cash before check-in. I had to heat some water on the gas stove in a pot to shower. The shower tray also seemed to have a problem, since taking a shower turned the bathroom into a lake.
