Siren Pension

There’s a shared, compact kitchen up on the scenic roof terrace. The place itself is spotless, lovely, and peaceful, in a very safe part of the city centre. The owners are always smiling and ready to help when needed. I’d recommend it for a calm, relaxing holiday.

Siren is just a five-minute walk from the town centre, and the prices are reasonable. My wife cares a lot about hygiene and was very happy with how clean the room was. We felt comfortable leaving our passports and valuables in the safe. The family who run this local business were friendly and trustworthy, and Remzi even helped me find a place to park the car. We like supporting family-run businesses and would recommend Siren Pansiyon to anyone wanting to stay near the centre.

A Turkish pansiyon is a very basic type of accommodation, a bit like a hostel in the EU, though you get a private room. This one has clean, air-conditioned rooms and costs about 20€ per person, so it’s fairly inexpensive. There’s no breakfast, but you can shop at nearby markets, make a quick meal in the kitchenette upstairs, and keep food in the shared fridge. Good value for the money.

The terrace view is beautiful, the breakfast is fresh, and the staff are really friendly. It seems suited to couples or families, but the rooms weren’t very clean and housekeeping was rare. Wi-Fi was poor, it was always crowded, and I thought the prices were too high.
