The food came straight out of the freezer.

Meh.

The staff didn't treat people decently, and hygiene and cleanliness seemed completely absent. We paid 700 TL to rent sun loungers, but after staff kept telling us where we could and couldn't go, I asked for my money back. I got it after an argument. Later I noticed the receipt was absurdly high, and it seems they rent loungers on the public beach. I wouldn't recommend the place. Foça Municipality and the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization should inspect it urgently.

We were passing through from Ankara on a Ministry inspection mission and stopped in. The service and attitude were awful. The man in his 50s working there, who had dark skin, was tense and acted as if he wanted us gone. It felt like he was looking for a way to pick a fight with a customer. We stayed polite throughout, but he didn't change his manner. The water looked murky and the place wasn't cleaned well. Swimming cost 400 lira at the entrance, supposedly including toilets and showers, but he tried to charge us for the shower again when we left. The shower was coin operated and ran for only half a minute. We asked for drinks with the meal, but he brought them first. When we asked if they'd arrive with the food, he said there was no problem and the meal would be right away. We took the drinks ourselves, put them in the fridge, and opened the umbrellas ourselves. Then he closed the umbrellas around us and sent a kid to see whether we were out of drinks. When I paid contactless, he asked for the password. I said I wanted to enter it myself, but he insisted the device wouldn't come back to me and told me to just say it. He was gruff and patronizing every time we dealt with him, as if he were asking whether he should mess with us. Everything was incredibly expensive, about twice the price elsewhere. I've never before seen a place selling both Tuborg and Efes, either. Its license and licensing should be investigated. We just came across it on the road, and I definitely wouldn't go.
