We had planned to grab breakfast and leave, but a lovely conversation with the manager, his wife, and the team kept us there until lunch. They were incredibly kind, and even drove us to Ordu in their own car so we could carry on talking along the way. We stayed because this is a practice hotel for a hospitality vocational school. I wanted to learn about the curriculum and meet the students. The property is unique, and the people running it are extremely nice. It also brought back memories of the old Greek house where I was born, which gave our stay a nostalgic feeling. I wish we'd had more time to enjoy the property in this wonderful part of the city and talk with the students and teachers. This kind of hospitality is rare, and unfortunately you don't find it in most parts of the world anymore.

Of all the places I've stayed on my current Black Sea tour from Zonguldak up to here, this has been the nicest. Breakfast starting at 8:30 am might be the only thing to nitpick. It's a training hotel in a 19th-century mansion with 8 rooms, views of both the sea and the castle, and lots of cats in the garden 😍. If I come back, I won't look anywhere else. Thank you for everything.

The breakfast spread was good value, and there was enough for a family of 5 even though we ordered it for 3 people. The pita bread served with it was really delicious.

Our family came for iftar and were very pleased with the service, food, and attentive staff. We had one of the mansion rooms with its own seating area, a large round table surrounded by divans. It felt like stepping into a fairytale. Every dish was delicious and very reasonably priced. They also serve breakfast and dinner at other times. If you'd like to experience a beautiful, historic, authentic place with a fairytale feel in the olive grove neighborhood, you should definitely come here. 👏👏👏
