Gorkem Apart Hotel

We'd happily stay here again. The room was simple and clean, with a balcony looking over the pool. There were plenty of loungers and towels around the lovely courtyard pool. It's a quiet spot, only a 2-3 minute walk from the end of town, and we got a friendly welcome.

What made our stay at Görkem Apart special was the warm, family-like atmosphere. Everyone was happy to help with our questions, and they really touched my heart. The rooms were clean and well equipped, the grounds were beautiful, and the Wi-Fi worked throughout. We also loved the Turkish breakfast on the terrace. It's in a convenient spot near the marina. The shower pressure was my only concern. I had no trouble, but my friend ran out of water twice because of when he showered, so try to avoid busy times. The room had a balcony to sit on, plus a fridge, kettle, and a Turkish tea maker (çaydanlık). Staff were kind and helpful, checked the room daily, and changed towels when needed. We enjoyed our first visit to Gocek, and the breakfast had a nice size and variety. One note: confirm your reservation when you arrive. The son had arranged ours without his mother's knowledge. They sorted it out very kindly, but it could have caused an unpleasant moment on vacation.

Gorkem apart is well worth visiting, and Gocek too. The homemade jams, fresh ingredients, and daily pastries at breakfast were delicious. The rooms were very clean, and the staff were welcoming and helpful, especially the business manager, dear Gulgun. Highly recommended!
