I went on my own, though lots of people came with friends, and it seems like a nice way to bond. A friend suggested TheLifeCo, so I'm passing along the recommendation. Be clear at check-in about what you want and stay open to the experience. If possible, leave work behind. I had to work online, but it's better to enjoy the stress-free reset. Bodrum is nice even in winter, usually sunny and never too cold, though it can rain. Bring light, long-sleeved clothes. You can visit for the day or stay overnight. In January 2026, I did a seven-day detox at TheLifeCo in Türkbükü, Bodrum. A week before arrival, I had a video call with a specialist to set up my pre-detox routine. My wellness coach Ece tailored the program to my needs and explained the additional therapies. The team really knows what they're doing and came across as very professional. I'd never tried the "Master Detox" before. The juices are so colorful that I found myself looking forward to seeing which color came next, which helped me forget I was tired. My plan included the Master, Green Master, and water fasting. After day three I wasn't hungry at all. Once I stopped telling myself I had to eat, my body felt fine. By the sixth day of the water fast, I thought I could carry on for another week. Gonca and Beyza helped me get into that mindset. It felt like a chance to rest my mind as well as my body, and learn things I could use after leaving. The clinic is what makes the place feel special, particularly if you want medical supervision while water fasting. The "Angel of Water" seemed scary at first, but the team answered all my questions. My digestion feels amazing for the first time in years, and water fasting at home never worked this well. My room was spotless, thanks to Fadime and the housekeeping team, and I felt in safe hands. During the fast I often asked İsmail and Emir Can for alkaline water in the evenings, and they were always lovely about it. The juice bar staff were incredible. It's hard to keep track of all the supplements and shots yourself, but they showed up right on time, so I never ran low on energy. Burçak, Gaye, and Orhan were fun to talk with and made it easier to get through the program. The front desk team were also very helpful. The schedule was full, with two yoga classes a day, breathwork, and art therapies all included. I went home having kept my muscle mass while losing 7% of my total weight. The beauty and massage team were great too. Made is a wonderful Balinese therapist with nine years of experience. Definitely try her Balinese massage, I had no regrets. Everyone was friendly and dedicated, and went out of their way to make me comfortable. I didn't expect to feel so energetic and renewed inside and out after just seven days.

I tried water fasting at Life Co for 21 days and lost 11 kilos. I've been to several wellbeing retreats, and this has been the best so far. They take a scientific approach: my ketones were checked every morning, I could see a doctor each day, and I received IV drips every few days, which helped me maximise fat loss. The rooms were beautiful, and all the staff were courteous and capable. I had regular appointments with two doctors, both brilliant, funny, and intelligent. I'll definitely keep going back to Life Co.

I booked a seven-night detox and wellness retreat at The LifeCo Bodrum looking for the calm, healing stay I'd had the previous week at Sianji Wellness. The contrast was shocking. The staff at Sianji had been warm, empathetic, and genuinely caring; at The LifeCo, I felt met with little warmth or compassion. The place felt clinical and unfriendly as soon as I arrived. It's small, the facilities are more modern, but there's no beach, and the general atmosphere made me uncomfortable. On the group walk my first morning, nobody spoke to me the whole time, even though I tried to be friendly and join in. Before arriving, I shared my hospital notes and told several staff members I had a urinary tract infection and kidney impairment. Still, they repeatedly served juices and meals with ingredients my doctor had specifically told me to avoid. When I politely asked whether a juice had spinach, one staff member said, “What now?” in a dismissive way. It made me feel like I was being difficult, though I'm normally polite and respectful. The response was quietly upsetting. I stopped feeling safe eating or drinking what they served. After two days I couldn't stay any longer. I asked that morning if I could leave and get even a partial refund. I wasn't rude or confrontational; when uncomfortable, I tend to withdraw. Instead, staff passed me from one person to another for hours while I felt ill and emotionally drained. Eventually they said they could only offer a credit note, which left me feeling trapped. I spent the next four hours alone in my room, unwell and without having eaten all day. Nobody checked on me or offered food or juice. I cried in my room, then arranged my own taxi. No one helped with my luggage or checked if I was okay. Their handling of a sick guest in distress was appalling. I later learned my private complaint had been shared among staff in a group chat. That felt humiliating and deeply unprofessional. I also discovered the resort had taken two separate payments under different company names, one in euros and one in pounds, so I was overcharged twice. I sent a formal complaint describing everything, but The LifeCo hasn't replied or even acknowledged the distress. Since leaving, they haven't checked on me either. I'm now spending the rest of my holiday in a cheap Airbnb instead of the restorative health retreat I expected, while trying to sort out the payment issues with my bank. The LifeCo presents itself as a place for healing and transformation, but my experience was the opposite, a cold, unsettling place where basic humanity and care seemed absent. After the kindness and attentiveness I experienced at Sianji Wellness, the difference was hard to believe. If you're considering The LifeCo for health recovery or emotional wellbeing, especially if you need a caring environment, I'd strongly recommend reconsidering. Wellness takes warmth, empathy, and care, and I found none of that here.

I've loved Life Co since I first started going in 2010. It keeps improving, has an excellent location, and the staff are amazing.

A peaceful, beautiful place with a really good detox program. I lost three kilos, and the chef was great. The staff were polite and helpful. I especially want to thank the yoga instructor, who supported me so much and whom I didn't get a chance to say goodbye to. Sinan at reception, thank you for being there when I needed help. The morning walk with the trainer was wonderful, and the guide and trainer were very professional. Thanks to everyone at the juice bar, room service, and kitchen.
