The room was basic but clean, with towels and two soap discs. One thing to know is that it got quite cold at night despite the thick blankets and curtains. Breakfast on the rooftop was amazing and included in the price, and the staff were extremely kind. Simple, clean, and great value for the price.

Breakfast had lots of good quality items and was very good. Eating on the rooftop, with views over the city and the valley’s volcanic cones, was a treat. The free WiFi worked well, and the price was low compared with similar hotels, so it was very good value. The room was clean but very basic, with no fridge and only a curtain instead of a bathroom door, which may bother anyone looking for luxury. The hosts were very friendly and spoke English very well. The hotel is right in the center of Goreme.

Hatajiya and her family were so kind to us. They only accept cash, but we had run out and couldn’t withdraw money from the post office because it was the weekend. They understood our situation and helped us out. Thank you, dear.

The breakfast is the thing to make sure you don’t miss. It’s made at the hotel and is delicious, especially the bread, cheese, and eggs. Atak Hotel is a very good place to stay in Goreme, and the rooms are simple but have what you need for a day or two.

The host lady was very kind, and we were satisfied with our stay. The room was clean, breakfast was quite good, and parking in front of the hotel was easy. It’s a very basic hotel, but it might be the cheapest one.
