Ciner Hotel

Everything was clean, the meals were amazing, and all the staff were hospitable. Emrllh was especially helpful. The hotel handled my tours and airport transfer, so I was always on time for activities. It's very central, within walking distance of town and the Hammam. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone going to kapadokya.

The stay was very unpleasant, and I wouldn't book here again. The air conditioning didn't work, and it took more than 12 hours and four requests before anyone came to look at it. The toilet seat was detached and the shower door was broken. Staff were repeatedly rude and unhelpful, with a poor attitude. Breakfast was disappointing and low quality.

You can watch the balloons from the terrace or your room, and there's a nice backyard with a pool. The rooms were comfortable. Breakfast had a good range of food and was served right on time from 8 to 10, with things replenished as needed. There's also a small coffee bar near the entrance where you can get hot water for free.

We spent three nights at Ciner Hotel in Göreme, from June 14-17, 2025, and found the stay uncomfortable and deeply disappointing. The location was good, but that was the only positive for us. From day one, reception's manner felt unprofessional. When we asked for help, we were told, “If you don’t like it, you can leave.” A young man, whose role wasn't clear to us, either reception or room service, was also extremely rude. We were sitting in the lobby chairs provided for guests near reception when he came over, switched off the lights, and gestured for us to go. We wonder if that is normal behavior. Other guests who weren't Georgian were loud and no one said anything, but when we Georgians talked, it suddenly became an issue. Why the double standard? A hotel that can't accept feedback or complaints has a serious problem. The rooms were dirty, dusty, and unsanitary. We had to ask several times for the dust to be cleaned, and even then the cleaning was only partial. That level of neglect is unacceptable. The kitchen staff were the sole bright spot. The chef and Serhan were respectful, professional, and clearly good at their work. Honestly, they're the only two who deserve the stars the hotel claims. In Georgia, hospitality is on an entirely different level. I hope one day you experience what warm, professional, respectful guest service looks like.
