Miras Hotel - Special Class

We were lost in the rain, though we weren’t staying here. A man from the hotel kindly brought us inside, made us coffee, and called the owner of our hotel so he could come pick us up.

The hotel is a nice 3* place, spread over several levels on a fairly steep slope, as many hotels in Goreme are. The views over Goreme are great. Our room was large and comfortable, with a spar bath, although the lighting could have been better. Staff were cordial but a little inattentive. We had to keep reminding them to refill breakfast items that had run out. The breakfast itself was adequate.

We found the place by accident and ended up staying two nights. The manager showed us around so we could choose a room. Sleeping inside the stone was amazing, and I loved being able to smell the stone. The room had everything we needed, and we had a private Terrasse with a nice view over Göreme. We were very happy with our stay. The only disappointment was that the pool wasn’t open yet, even though the weather was hot and sunny. 🤷‍♀️

My room was delightful, clean, comfortable, and quiet, and breakfast had a lovely range of fresh fruit, breads, sweets, cereals, and hot buffet items. I stayed for 4 nights and found the whole experience perfect. The staff were very friendly, and Serkan, the hotel manager, helped me arrange several tours and airport transfers. I could see the balloons from my doorstep, and the rooftop gave me views for miles. Watching the balloons there in the morning was fantastic. I highly recommend Miras Hotel if you’re looking for a great place to stay. I’d also recommend the balloon ride and the various tours on offer.
