The rooftop view of the hot air balloons was magical, and breakfast was incredible and filling. We stayed in a beautiful stone hotel that made us love the city even more. Our room was roomy and cosy, with a very comfortable bed and six pillows altogether. There was a mini fridge and kettle, and the bathroom was a good size with a hot shower. The staff were kind and friendly. They also have two lovely cats and a dog who all seemed happy to be petted. We’d definitely return and recommend it.

If you’re sensitive to noise or want real quiet and privacy, this probably isn’t the place. The sound insulation is a major problem. In room 102, the thin door let every hallway step and conversation through. The compact hotel meant people were always passing by, and at night we heard doors slamming and staff activity near the two reception areas on the first floor. We moved to room 107 upstairs, which was much prettier and had a stunning panoramic view, but it didn’t solve things. The windows barely blocked outside noise, which came through as if they were open. From about 7:30 a.m., before breakfast, staff moved chairs and dishes clattered, so sleeping in wasn’t possible. We stayed three nights, December 25 to December 29. Aside from the noise, the interior was beautiful and matched the photos, the viewpoints were great, the staff were amazing and genuinely tried to help, and breakfast was very good, served individually with different food each day. If noise isn’t an issue for you, the hotel itself is wonderful.

The front desk were so thoughtful and helpful. They even came to collect my bags as soon as I arrived, without me asking. Booking excursions was easy, and pickup was right at the hotel. My room was clean and the decor suited me, and the location was ideal: about a 15 minute walk to the town center and the red and rose valley hike. That was one of the most beautiful hikes I’ve ever taken, a must for visitors to Cappadocia. Given the location, I’d call this a 3-star hotel.

The team made the hotel feel even more welcoming. Thanks to the front of house staff Amer, Mehmet and Abubakar, and to Ali and Angel for the food. Nismo was playful, and the two cats were adorable too. The room and hotel were clean and beautifully decorated, with heated floors that were welcome during our cold stay in Cappadocia. The mattress and pillows were the most comfortable we had on all our travels. Breakfast wasn’t buffet style, but there was plenty and it was freshly made when we arrived. The main town was about a 10 minute walk away, with lots of hiking trails nearby, and the balloon launch area was close too.

The breakfast was the best part, delicious and with a different menu each day. Everything we tried was so good. I thought this was a really cheap deal compared with what I’d found elsewhere. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, and they had cats! Our room was ready at 1pm, so we could check in straight away. The place was quiet and within walking distance of the city center. Really recommend it!
