The one good thing was the sea view. The staff were polite and friendly, but the noise and lack of sound insulation made this one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had. The windows face the road, which is very loud, and music from somewhere nearby started blaring in the evening. Even earplugs didn’t help. I eventually fell asleep, then woke feeling like I couldn’t breathe. The room smelled strongly of tobacco smoke, and opening the window wasn’t an option because of the noise. People in the next room talked loudly all night, and the walls let so much sound through that I couldn’t sleep. I ended up getting up and leaving at 4 a.m. A complete disappointment. If you don’t want a nervous breakdown, don’t stay here.

The only positive thing I can say is that the hotel has a sea view. The lift was broken, so you have to carry your luggage up the stairs to enjoy it from the higher floors. Nobody mentioned the problem on the phone when we booked. I’ll let the photos I took before using the room show the hygiene. A used ceiling item and a towel were already in the wardrobe. When we called reception to report them, they told us to smell them to decide whether they were dirty. That says a lot about this hotel’s standards. The mini-fridge wasn’t working either. We left after 15 minutes because we were afraid of getting herpes, and we still didn’t get our money back. NEVER AGAIN!

The location is excellent, and everything was very clean.

The location and view were the only nice parts. We checked in at night, and there was no care for the details. The rooms were unhygienic, cleaning hadn’t been done properly, and the beds were uncomfortable. Breakfast was plain and basic, with flies around and some food that didn’t seem fresh. The hotel needs repairs and renovation.

We stayed three days ago, and the room was disgusting. The sheets hadn’t been changed, and when we asked for a fresh one, the cover they brought had a hair on it too. The bathroom ceiling had collapsed. We went to the restaurant and had breakfast surrounded by the smell of alcohol, and there wasn’t any hot water for tea.
