Oren Hill Apart

The people made this stay special. Resul puts a lot into making sure guests are happy, Ali was so kind, and the whole team made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Nothing seemed like a bother. At a hotel last year, I felt invisible unless the owner was selling event nights. Here, my four children and I felt acknowledged as people, not just paying guests. Even when we didn't want to eat at the hotel, it was no problem. After three years of holidays in Içmeler, we all agreed this was our favourite. It was our first stay at Oren Apart, but I arrived nervous about what it would really be like and how we'd be treated. I left feeling like a friend, not a stranger. The rooms were nicely decorated and more modern than in other places we've stayed. I don't expect The Ritz on holiday. Clean and tidy is what matters to me, since we only sleep in the room. Our one-bedroom apartment was a bit small for us, though it wasn't a big issue while we were there. We usually book a two-bedroom place and would probably choose a bigger room next time. There was air conditioning only in the bedroom, which made sleeping in the living room difficult. We were there during a heatwave, with daytime temperatures in the mid-40s and nights still in the low 30s. Rooms were cleaned daily, and you could see the cleaners working their way around the hotel. In our second week it got harder to find a sunbed. Most were taken by mid-morning, as you'd expect, though the odd one or two were still available around the pool. The pool could get busy and would probably benefit from being bigger, but by mid-afternoon, around 3-4, most people had had enough and it was quite empty. The hotel is towards the back of the old village, so it's not close to the beach or main strip. The walk to the main part of Içmeler wasn't too far for us. Food was very good, with lots of choice and reasonable prices. We had drinks, snacks, ice cream, lunch and dinner there. I kept a tab for the two weeks, which I know isn't recommended, but it came to much less than I expected. I wasn't ripped off. They also take cards as well as cash. Resul, Ali, Mehmet, Ozzy and the rest of the team get five stars from us. I'd recommend Oren Apart for a relaxing stay. Thank you! 🇹🇷❤️
