Emilia Hotel

The atmosphere was relaxing, the staff were friendly and supportive, and my room was clean with a comfortable bed. It’s a small, very nice hotel in a superb spot close to the beach, with a little swimming pool and breakfast included. The price was very good, though air conditioning costs extra. My only complaint was how loud the music around the hotel got in the evenings. I’d recommend bringing earplugs.

The location worked well, with the beach about 100 metres away and plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. It’s a great bar too, showing most sports with English commentary, and the snack food, like pizza, chips and salads, is pretty well priced. The bar and restaurant look a little dated, but the staff were fantastic and really welcoming, especially Ibrahim, Yusuf and Talha. Their English is brilliant and they’d do anything to make your stay better. The other staff were just as good, though some had limited English. The pool is small, but suits the size of the hotel and is perfect for a dip when it’s hot. It’s a decent hotel, more than adequate, and I’d definitely stay again.

We’ve been coming to icemeler for 25 years, but after this stay we won’t return. We’re a retired couple and were left shocked and feeling very vulnerable. A substantial amount of money was stolen from the locked safe in our room. Staff seemed apathetic, bored and uninterested. After 6, there’s no water for a shower. The beds were clean and we got clean towels every day, but the floors were filthy and there was no cleaning routine. I’ve stayed in basic 2star accommodation in Icemeler that was always lovely and clean. The pool area was disgustingly dirty, enough to make you wonder about the water quality. It was extremely hot, and big rocks were used to wedge open the fire doors to cool the building. The bar below the hotel played loud music until 2am. Absolute pits.

Breakfast was lovely and included in the stay, and the hotel bar had a nice atmosphere with prices lower than most places nearby. The hotel was spotless, with a clean, comfortable room and very friendly, accommodating staff. Its location is perfect, just a 3minute walk from the beach with plenty of nightlife around. I recently stayed at the Emilia boutique hotel in Icmeler and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a clean and comfortable stay with breakfast included.
