The owner was so kind on our early tour morning, waiting with us by the gate in the dark until the guide arrived. Andy, who runs the restaurant, was also lovely, humble and friendly. You can book day trips through him at the same or a cheaper price. Everyone on the team was helpful and served us with a smile. The place was clean, and the pools were among the cleanest I've seen. Our room was cleaned daily, though the bedding needed attention. They sorted it when we mentioned it. The food was delicious, and we had no stomach issues. Definitely try the beef steak with garlic sauce. We booked this April stay at the last minute for our first trip abroad, without planning very well, but it went great. It isn't a five-star or posh resort, but it was worth the money and felt very safe. We really enjoyed the stay and would recommend it.

The staff are what make this place worth staying at. I prefer smaller hotels, and everyone, especially the bar staff, was lovely and happy to help. Food and drinks were okay for a pool bar, where you expect to pay a little extra, and it's handy if you don't want to go out. Pubs and restaurants are just a minute away, yet we weren't bothered by their noise. The beach is an easy, flat walk of at most ten minutes. The pool is a good size, with plenty of beds, so there was no need to claim one at 7 a.m., though a few loungers are broken and could use some care. Rooms are very basic and old-fashioned, as many places in Turkey are unless you choose a big hotel, but they were clean. My only real complaint was the thin walls. I could hear people talking and using the toilet, and the guests above me were very loud, though that's not the hotel's fault. The pool bar takes cash only, and the safe is by the bar instead of in the room. I'd rather have an in-room safe, but it wasn't a big problem. If basic and cheap suits you, it's worth a stay.
