I’ve stayed at Hotel Akcinar both this year and last, and the team always makes me feel welcome. The service is fantastic, and everyone is friendly and generous. It may not be a five-star hotel, but I’d pick it every time I come to İstanbul. Shops, transport, restaurants, historical places, and plenty more are all around it, right in the middle of everything.

The rooftop terrace was a real surprise, with lovely views over the Bosphorus, 15 Temmuz bridge, and Galata tower. The breakfast was good, and staff kept topping up the dishes, even near the end of service. Turkish tea was free all day, and we appreciated the Qibla direction sticker, which makes the hotel a good fit for Muslim families. The metro and tram stations are both less than 100 meters away. This was our third trip to Istanbul. We’d stayed around Beyazit on our first two visits, but were glad we tried Sirkeci and hotel Akçinar this time. We first got a nice room on the third floor, then asked for something higher up. The manager moved us to the most comfortable room on the fifth floor, with a wonderful view of the main Sirkeci street. The rest of the staff were polite and helped whenever we needed them. Best stay in Istanbul so far.

The atmosphere gave me that home-away-from-home feeling, and I’ll choose Hotel Akçinar again when I’m back in Istanbul. It’s just steps from the port, with lots of restaurants and shops nearby, and Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and the park are close too. The room was cleaned daily, the WiFi worked well, and breakfast was served every day. Highly recommend!

We’ve stayed on this street for the second time now, and it’s really the best. The people are very nice and always helpful. Rooms are lovely, with a really good street view for good prices. I highly recommend this hotel.

Everything went smoothly, and the room was comfortable and clean. I booked directly on Akçınar Hotel’s official website and got a much better price than on other platforms, so it was worth it. Mr. Fatih was especially helpful and welcoming. A pleasant, affordable place to stay, highly recommended!
