They eventually confirmed that our reservation was for three, apologized for the confusion, and we went to the hotel. But at reception, the young man again insisted we couldn’t stay at the agreed price and pushed hard for an extra charge. The room hadn’t been cleaned and still had trash in it. There were no slippers or even a glass of water, and no refrigerator. The air conditioner had no remote and ran unpredictably. To turn it off, you had to use the breaker, with the risk of an electric shock. We’d booked for three people and the hotel initially confirmed it, then ten minutes later said it was only for two and asked for more money. Definitely not recommended.

The rooms were filthy, with roaches and bugs everywhere. They turned off the heater first thing in the morning and also shut off the hot water. When I raised the issue, they acted like they didn’t understand. A few of the women working there gossiped, and I felt they were trying to take money from guests. One said I had made a sheet dirty and demanded $50 for washing it. I asked to see the sheet and said I could buy a new one, since it cost less than $5, but she wouldn’t show it to me. She seemed to know there was nothing dirty and that cleaning was part of the job. Then she said I should pay $20 instead. The owners’ two daughters work there, but they had a lot of attitude and didn’t do their jobs properly, sitting and smoking instead. When I complained about the workers, I was told, “Okay, I’ll tell them,” but nothing changed. I wouldn’t go there or trust the workers. Don’t waste your money or time on this hotel. It wasn’t worth it for me at all.

I only stayed one day and paid 20 euros, which felt like a good deal. My room was 403, across from an old church. It wasn’t luxurious, but everything was nice and clean, including the sheets and pillowcase. I’d read negative reviews, though I came away with a very positive impression. I didn’t know I could sleep so peacefully in a hotel.

The room I stayed in was really dirty. I saw bugs crawling on the wall and across the bathroom floor, and the towel smelled like vinegar. If you don’t care about your health, come here.
