Arden City Hotel

The location worked perfectly for seeing the sights. It’s about a five-minute walk to the Blue Mosque, Sagia Sophia, Topika Palace, and Grand Bazaar. We stayed eight nights and would absolutely come back to Istanbul. The rooftop restaurant has a spectacular view, and we had one of our best meals there. The Turkish breakfast was lovely and had lots of variety. Staff there were always smiling and helpful. Reception was great with directions and suggestions, welcomed us back, and asked about our day. Really, everyone was friendly, even the cleaners. Our room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels and bottled water each day. They were helpful before we’d even got through the door.

The breakfast on the Terrace was a highlight, with its amazing view and the sweetest waitresses, Nargess and ashegol. We booked directly with Aslon, the hotel manager, so we could have the same room as last time, and he made the trip easier and more enjoyable. It was our second stay at Arden City Hotel across four trips to Istanbul, and we had a wonderful time. Mr. Asian treated us like VIP guests and sent a private driver to pick us up at the airport. We arrived around one o’clock in the morning, and Omar at registration was another wonderful member of staff. Everyone was kind, welcoming, and ready to help. Our clean, comfortable room had a great street view and even an ocean view. The location is perfect, within walking distance of the Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, restaurants, and shops. The area felt lively and safe at night too. Thank you to Aslon and all the staff for the hospitality. We’d definitely stay again on our next trip to Istanbul.

Kendal at reception was lovely and kind from start to finish. He showed us from the lobby to the lift and our room, then quickly brought the iron we’d requested. When we left, he helped with our luggage and found our taxi in the busy street. Special thanks to Kendal, and thank you, Arden City. We stayed this week and had a really pleasant time at this beautiful gem in the heart of the city. Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and other sights are an easy walk away. The breakfast selection could have been a little better, but that didn’t spoil our trip. We’re glad we chose Arden City Hotel and would recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul. Tay & Hasan A

The rooms were spotless and the beds comfortable, and the included breakfast was great. There’s a rooftop terrace at this beautiful hotel in the centre of the old city. Staff were all friendly and kept checking if we needed help. Attractions are only about a 10-minute walk away, with shops and restaurants right on the doorstep. A must stay in the old city.
