We loved being able to explore Istanbul on foot. Many of the main sights are walkable, and the metro is about two minutes away. The staff were really friendly, and the manager gave us useful local advice and even helped guide us around. The room and bathroom were small, which is what we expected from a budget hotel, and it didn’t bother us. We’re a couple who like walking when we visit cities, so this suited us well. One small tip: the entrance is around 15 meters east of the spot Google Maps marks, which may save you a bit of searching.

The people at Arife Sultan Hotel made us feel like family and were always ready to help. Yasim and Muhmet were especially kind. It’s also ideally placed near transport and the main sights. I’d happily stay here again next time I’m in Istanbul. Highly recommended!

The bed was comfortable, the rooms were cozy, and the staff were so friendly. They took time to show us the city’s tourist spots on a map. It’s a really good hotel, close to everything. Highly recommended!

We ate at Las Tapas after the staff recommended the restaurant right across from us, and it turned out to be a great choice. The people working at the hotel were very helpful, and the location puts you close to everything. Our room was a little small, but had all we needed.

We felt a bit like locals here, and the area around us didn’t feel touristy. Restaurants were everywhere, and we could walk to so many places. The location in the middle of old Istanbul is hard to beat, so I’d stay again. The people running the hotel were amazing. Our room was tiny and old, and not terribly comfortable, but being right in the thick of things was amazing. There was a lift in the building, which had a quaint feel. They arranged cars to take us to the airport and bring us back. Sorry, I didn’t take photos.
