What made this stay memorable was the team. Their hospitality never felt scripted. The people we met seemed to truly care that guests enjoyed Istanbul, and they knew the city well, sharing ideas beyond the usual tourist lists. We've visited more than 10 times, yet their tips still led us to new places and experiences. Guest Relations and Front Office checked in regularly and helped in a natural, sincere way. One day, several public transportation stations were temporarily closed because of ongoing activities in the city. Getting around was harder than usual, so the hotel team came to pick us up and bring us back. They then helped us find a taxi and patiently explained our destination to the driver. It might sound small, but in a foreign city when plans get complicated, that care makes a big difference. We left feeling looked after and are already looking forward to returning. The location is fantastic, with the tram a short walk away for trips to the historic center, ferry piers and many major sights. Travel to and from either airport was straightforward by taxi or public transport. Before we arrived, Guest Relations got in touch to make sure everything was arranged. Our flight landed after midnight, and after a long travel day it was lovely to find the concierge team there to welcome us. The rooms are beautiful and full of character, with the building's history coming through and Italian-Turkish touches in the design. We loved the Acqua di Parma amenities. Banca L'Unione, next door, was a highlight for both breakfast and dinner. Breakfast had a Turkish spirit with a touch of Italian elegance, and was one of the better ones we've had in a long time. Vignette Collection L'Union Han Istanbul is one of IHG's newest Istanbul hotels. We'd been looking forward to staying since we heard it was fully operational, and it was absolutely worth the wait. After so many visits, it's getting harder to surprise us, but this place managed it. Big thanks to Huseyin, Türku, Ezel, Baran, Turgat, Ifran, Kadir and everyone we met for making our stay so comfortable and perfect!

For our anniversary, choosing L’Union Han was one of our best decisions. The team went out of their way to make the occasion feel special, and the thoughtful gestures meant a lot. Huge thanks to Baran, Turku, Turgat, and Huseyn for being so kind and attentive. They suggested local restaurants, arranged reservations, helped plan our days, answered every question, and even made sure we grabbed a meal before heading out to explore. It was clear they cared about our experience. The hotel itself is breathtaking, with characterful architecture and a beautiful restoration. Everything was maintained to a high standard, and every space felt spotless and welcoming. The location is another big plus. Galata Tower, Galata Bridge, tram and metro stations, and loads of great restaurants, cafés and shops are within easy walking distance, so we hardly needed transportation. The cocktails at the bar were excellent and became our favorite way to end each evening. From the moment we arrived, it felt like being welcomed by friends, not just checking into a hotel. We can't think of anything that could have been better. With its service, setting and beautiful rooms, we'd absolutely stay again on our next trip to Istanbul and recommend L’Union Han without hesitation.

The team is what I’ll remember most about L’union Han. Baran, Turku, Turgat, Huseyn, and the rest of the staff were warm, attentive, professional, and always happy to help. They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, and every request was met with a smile. The hotel itself is gorgeous, full of character, beautifully restored, and kept in impeccable shape. It’s also easy to walk to many of Istanbul’s main sights, cafés, restaurants, and shops. The people somehow made an already lovely property even more memorable. We’d gladly stay at L’union Han again on our next trip to Istanbul.

The staff really make this place stand out. Everyone was welcoming and professional, and Ibrahim deserves a special thanks for his outstanding hospitality. The hotel is new, luxurious, and attentive to even the smallest details, with high-end amenities. Its location is ideal too. Highly recommended.
