Asitane Life Hotel

The place was close to Blue Mosque and Marmara station, but the stay was a waste of money. I was hungry after breakfast, and the room had old sheets, a dirty shower, a broken bathroom door, a gas smell, and no toilet paper. There was no room service the whole time, so I had to take out my own garbage every day. Not especially memorable, and not in a good way.

We booked four days and paid in cash, but two days later they said our time was up and told us to leave. That left us without a hotel two days before our flight. I don't usually write reviews, but don't book here, especially if paying cash. This is a scam.

There was smoke in the room and hallway from the moment I arrived, which felt unsafe and unhygienic. The water from the sink was dark and dirty, and the sink was broken. Old bedsheets, possibly not even clean, and a terrible smell on the balcony made it unusable. This place seems neglected and doesn't meet basic health or safety standards. I contacted my travel provider for urgent help. It shouldn't be listed on a travel platform, and I wouldn't risk ruining a holiday by staying here.

The man at the lobby was rude. He glanced at me and said, “We're full,” even after I told him I had a confirmed booking. He didn't ask to see it or check anything, just turned us away. The hotel apparently doesn't accept unmarried couples. That treatment is unacceptable in hospitality. The low price makes sense given the bad service, and I don't understand how this place is still operating.
