The food was the same every day, from breakfast through dinner. The older man and the room attendant or assistant were very strict and hard to approach. They also wouldn’t let guests stay longer in the lobby.

My four stars are for the hotel, service, and price, which were all good, plus a decent breakfast. The issue was the thin walls and inconsiderate fellow guests. That’s not the hotel’s fault, but if you’re staying at Ay Hotel, please behave and keep the noise down. It can spoil what would otherwise be a good experience.

It’s probably the easiest hotel to reach from Yenikapi station, a convenient area to stay in Istanbul, so it could suit you if you’re tired or carrying lots of luggage. The place was clean and quiet, and I slept well. Still, plenty of nearby hotels cost less and give you more space, comfort, style, food choices, and a warmer welcome. After having breakfast at Hotel Ay, where the only coffee was instant, I took a short walk and found several really nice hotels nearby. Some didn’t show prices on Google, but the ones that did offered much lower rates when I went in person.

Hotel ay is a nice place in Turkey for a short stop, with small rooms that have two beds. The photo shows a waiting area and a little dining room for about 15 people. The area around the hotel is really good, with amazing shops and local food. You can also find money changers on every street corner.

I found the hotel pleasant to stay in. The room was kept clean and hygienic, with regular tidying, and the meals, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, were fresh and good.
