The room was comfortable, cozy, and nicely updated, though smaller than I expected. Balpetek hotel is about 500 m from the historic Hagia Sophia mosque. It’s clean and a good place to stay over. Check-in was quick and easy, and the front desk staff were professional and kind. Breakfast is free each morning from 8 to 10 AM and was genuinely good: toast, eggs, hard-boiled eggs, cereal, lots of cheeses and vegetables, plus a machine for coffee, espresso, latte, and other drinks.

The staff made my 8 day stay a joy. The hotel and rooms were very clean, with rooms cleaned every day, and the location was excellent.

The hotel was in a good spot for first-time visitors, and the price felt very fair for the service. The rooms were clean, and the staff were kind and flexible. They let us check in early and kept our bags in the lobby because our flight was much later than checkout. I’d also made a booking mistake, but they were helpful and accommodating about it. Thank you!

Clean hotel, great service, and a really convenient location right by the T1 tramway. The staff were very helpful and accommodating whenever we had a concern.

The room was spotless and got cleaned every day. Ismail and Mohamed were especially great, and everyone was friendly and ready to help with whatever we needed. For the price, the quality of service is hard to beat. I’d give it six stars if I could, and recommend it to everyone.
