The apartment was basic but worked well. The bed was the best part, a whole king-size to myself as a solo traveler felt like a budget luxury. There’s a kettle if you want tea, just bring your own tea bags. The bathroom is small but fine, and the hot water worked without any issues. There was a mild mold smell, but at such a low price I can’t really complain. It’s on the fourth floor with no elevator, so it’s not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. I stayed for three nights and had a genuinely great time. It cost about the same as a hostel but gave me much more privacy. The location in the heart of fatih is excellent, with trams and metros nearby and plenty of food shops and restaurants. The area can be noisy, though the windows do a surprisingly good job keeping the sound out. I’d book it again without hesitation if I come back to istanbul.

The owner and his brother were incredibly kind. They kept checking if I needed anything and made me feel comfortable and safe traveling alone. I stayed at Baran Home Aparts for about two weeks and only have positive things to say. The location was perfect, with main attractions, supermarkets, pharmacies, and great restaurants nearby. I was grateful to find such an affordable stay during high season. Definitely recommend it if you want a budget place in Istanbul that’s conveniently located. 🙏🏼❤️

The rooms aren’t luxurious, but they have what you need, a bed and a bathroom. They were clean and tidy, and good for the price. The host was kind and helpful. The hotel is in a perfect spot, within walking distance of the nicest places and landmarks. There are lots of small shops and restaurants next door, so you can find things you need nearby.

There’s a supermarket across from the hotel, run by the same owner and open late. The host was around whenever we needed anything and was very friendly. Behind the hotel there’s a small public square with lots of restaurants. I recommend Nasip et kebab :) We arrived late at night and the host welcomed us with towels and slippers. The room had a fridge, closet, and desk. The sheets were clean, and the hallway was kept clean too. We got keys for both our room and the front door, so we could come and go whenever we wanted. Thanks so much for a nice stay!
