It’s a tiny hotel in a really nice part of Istanbul, in Beşiktaş, and breakfast was quick and delicious. The receptionists are lovely, especially the older gentleman at the desk. I’d happily book again and recommend it to anyone who doesn’t want to spend unnecessarily much on a hotel.
I left my luggage at the property while I took a city tour from 09:00 to 20:00. We’d agreed that I could have a quick shower before heading to the airport, but when I came back they said they were full and couldn’t honor that arrangement. That was extremely frustrating and disappointing. They also received me very late from the airport. There was no coffee or other supplies, despite the small kitchenette and kettle, and there wasn’t even bottled water in the room.
The place is okay for the price, and I only stayed one night. I’d been scammed by another hotel nearby, but Lady Anna was friendly and very helpful. The management was understanding and did a lot to help.
The staff were nice, and everything else was alright. The water pressure was low, though, and there was no toothbrush or drinking water in the room.
The location is prime and the service is good, but you can find rooms of a better standard for less money.
