The Pera Hill Hotel

We loved staying at Pera Hill Hotel, Istanbul. The location made it easy to get to food, shops, and nightlife around Istiklal Road, and we really liked both the hotel and our room. The staff were warm and helpful, especially the morning receptionist, who lent us his Istanbulkart for exploring. We were also pleasantly surprised by an upgrade from a connecting room to a higher-level room with a balcony. It worked perfectly for our group of four. Would definitely recommend! 💕

We had booked four rooms for nine people and were looking forward to coming back because we’d stayed here before and genuinely enjoyed it. Then the war started just two days before we were due to leave, making travel impossible. Our flights were officially canceled, and the airlines refunded the tickets. We were disappointed that the hotel wouldn’t refund our booking in these serious circumstances beyond our control. We weren’t canceling by choice, and we’d been waiting to visit and enjoy our stay. We hoped for understanding and a fair solution for both the guests and the hotel, but management didn’t reconsider its policy.

This is a lively spot, with pubs and bars nearby, so nights can be noisy. That’s part of the location. We arrived around midnight and were able to check in without any trouble. I’d recommend it to people who enjoy parties and nightlife. Families looking for a quiet stay may want to look elsewhere. We spent three nights in a family suite and had a great experience. The view was nice, the AC worked perfectly, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent, though nothing special.

The staff really made the stay. They were efficient and professional, and Rasha was especially kind, looking after us each day. We spent four nights here with my family. It’s a nice place with a very convenient base for exploring both the old and new parts of the city. Breakfast was good too. I recommend it!
