The owner was very nice and polite, and the room was clean. Room service was good, though the shower cubicle was small. The surrounding area is poor, but it felt quite safe. Being poor isn't a crime. I chose the family-run hotel for its location, with the Yenicapi metro station just a two-minute walk away. We should support family businesses instead of everyone trying to be a critic. I’ll definitely come back.

We were comfortable with the price, and you can't complain at that rate. The room was humid, so we had to leave the window open. For cleaning, you need to leave your key at reception, though that wasn't clear when we arrived. There's an elevator, which made getting to the room easy. In Istanbul we were mostly out seeing the city, so the hotel itself wasn't our main concern. Its big advantage is being right by the metro and bus station, which gets you all over Istanbul in under 20 minutes. Thanks for hosting us, Konak Bella ;) I'd recommend it and will probably stay there next time.

The street felt very scary, dark, and run-down, with ruined buildings where people didn't seem to live. The hotel is family-run, and it felt like staying in someone's house. The staff were rude and had no manners, and they didn't speak English. A scary street and rude staff.

I’m here with my daughter, so we have twin beds. The room is small but comfortable, with clean beds, soft linen, and good mattresses. Everything was clean, and the AC, kettle, cube fridge, and TV all worked. There’s no tea or coffee. The bathroom is small, just enough room for one person to stand, but it’s clean and has a hair dryer. We also have a small balcony to sit outside. Inside, the place looks nice, modern, and posh, with an elevator to the third floor, a tiny kitchen with a big fridge, and a larger breakfast area. The neighborhood is poor but friendly and helpful. Women and children were walking around even at 9:30 p.m., and local shops were open. We found a kebab shop for dinner, 300 lira for two. It feels safe, though we had to watch out for stray dogs and cats and be aware that local shops might overcharge. A translation app is useful since the friendly, helpful staff don't speak English, but we communicate through the app.
