The kindness of the staff, their attention to detail, and how ready they were to help with anything made our stay special. That kind of customer service feels rare these days. We’ll definitely return, and highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a first-class experience.

I’ve stayed here more than four times. The rooms are spacious and nicely thought out, and the spa is top notch with great amenities. But the beds are very springy and painful to sleep on, and breakfast is extremely underwhelming. On our last visit, despite being repeat guests, we got the worst room at the back of the hotel, with active construction and no view. There was also a wedding event, with people partying until 4am. We didn’t sleep at all and felt very uncomfortable instead of relaxed.

Service is outstanding and welcoming, and the location is perfect for The Peninsula Istanbul. The Bosphorus-facing rooms feel modern, classic, and functional, with super comfortable beds that made for excellent sleep. The spa, terrace, pools, restaurants, and bars round out the amenities. Everything is at the highest standard.

The staff’s warmth is what stays with me. They were kind and attentive without intruding, remembered us, and seemed to anticipate what we needed. Little surprises and thoughtful gestures made it feel like someone had considered how each moment would land. The welcome tea and calm, gracious hospitality set that tone from the start. Our room was spacious, serene, and quietly luxurious, with a Bosphorus view that made us stop and take it in. It was somewhere we wanted to spend time, not just sleep. The spa was peaceful and exceptionally run. Treatments felt personal and unhurried, and the whole place invited real relaxation. Food and service throughout the hotel were consistently excellent. With the stunning location, historic setting, and sweeping views, The Peninsula Istanbul feels grand while still being deeply human. I felt grounded, looked after, and welcome in Istanbul.
