The staff made the difference during our few days here. Ms. Melania was so kind and welcoming, and Mr. Kenan helped us a lot and was very correct. I recommend them. We slept well in a very clean room with comfortable beds. The street is quiet at night, though the tram is only a few steps away and the metro is a 10-minute walk. The rooftop terrace is a lovely place to sit, with a beautiful sea view. The location is perfect. The rooms are functional but quite plain and modest, without much design polish. Breakfast was also fairly basic, and I’d expected more given the rest of the stay. Still, for the peaceful spot and such good staff, I recommend the hotel.

The reception team were helpful and always happy to answer questions. The location is great, near the tram and within walking distance of most tourist attractions. Rooms are simple, but clean and comfortable. The AC is noisy, so earplugs may help.

The hotel is in a great spot for transport and the sights on the western/Bulgarian side, with most tourist sites walkable and the Grand Bazaar about 10 minutes away. We were there in November 2024, and although the room and bathroom looked worn, old, and tired, we’d absolutely stay again. The room was clean and staff across the hotel were nice. There’s a food terrace too. At breakfast, the two small lifts didn’t seem enough for everyone, so we used the stairs.

The location, comfort, and price balance make this an excellent choice. Benler Otel is right beside Laleli tram station, so getting around is easy. Staff were kind and attentive, especially at reception. Yavuz Bey and especially Mr. Kinan were excellent. Mr. Kinan welcomed us warmly and was always ready to help. I was disappointed by one issue with housekeeping. We lost a pair of espadrilles in the room and simply asked whether the cleaning staff might have thrown them away by mistake. Ms. Bayze, the head of housekeeping, raised her voice, spoke rudely, and tried to blame us instead of helping. We still don’t know what happened to the shoes.
