Blue Plus Hotel

Haroon and Abdul Fattah were incredibly helpful throughout our eight nights. They'd meet us by the lift when we were heading out and offer to carry our things, then help again at the entrance when we got back. With a baby stroller, that made a real difference. The room was tidy, clean, and spacious enough for me, my wife, and our two kids. The hotel is about two minutes from Taksim, almost right by the road. My only issue was the cramped bathroom, which made changing the baby's diaper difficult. I've attached a video taken from the window.

The front desk guy even made fun of us when we complained, and the staff didn't seem to care. We were lucky to stay only one night. The room smelled of cigarettes as soon as we walked in. The sheets and bathroom were dirty, there was pubic hair on the toilet, and the doors had footprints all over them. The walls were filthy too. It was awful enough that I slept with my T-shirt over the pillow. I've never stayed in a dirtier hotel. Don't come here.

We spent four days here with our big family. The lift is tiny, but we were fine using the stairs to get to our room. The staff are friendly and speak English, and Bilal was especially nice. You can ask about a minivan if you're travelling here with family. There's also an Indonesian restaurant close to the hotel.

The location is good, but I didn't enjoy my one-day stay. The hotel wasn't very clean, and several things promised in the description, even basic amenities, were missing. The lift is extremely small. At check-in the receptionist said they hadn't received my payment, though I'd booked through Expedia and had the receipt.
