Breakfast on the terrace, looking out over the old city, was a lovely way to start each day. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet even with the central location. The hotel was great value for the service and location, and I’d gladly stay again on another trip to Istanbul. We spent four nights at Hotel Buhara Inn, which made a great base for exploring Sultanahmet. The Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Grand Bazaar were only minutes away on foot. Ilyas, the owner, was especially welcoming and friendly. He went out of his way to help us, from restaurant recommendations to tips for planning day trips, and made the stay feel personal.

As a solo traveler, I felt very safe here, and the family who runs the place looked after me so well. All the main tourist spots are just a 5-10 minute walk away. Thanks for the kindness, hospitality, and amazing breakfast!

The rooftop terrace is a real highlight, with a sea view over a superb traditional breakfast. The staff are warm and welcoming too. It’s a great hotel, just five minutes from the main monuments in the Sultanahmed district.

What stayed with me most was how warmly and sincerely the family treated their guests, almost like people they'd known for years. That kind of Turkish hospitality is rare these days. The staff were attentive to even the smallest things, and the whole place, from the rooms to every shared area, was spotlessly clean and carefully prepared. It's a very special family-run hotel right in the heart of Sultanahmet, and I'd definitely recommend staying there.
