Amazing place, well furnished and clean, with a polite owner and a good rate of 180€/week. It's close to downtown. The one downside is that there's no elevator.

The room was generally good for the affordable price, and the location is convenient for reaching Istanbul's main attractions. There are plenty of grocery stores nearby if you want to cook. Finding the hotel is tricky because the street number isn't listed, so you'll need to call the owner ahead of time. During our seven-night stay, there was no cleaning or linen change, and we had to take the trash out ourselves. The bathroom sink kept clogging.

We spent four days here as a family back in 2017. I came across the place again on Google Maps and started remembering that trip, then realized I’d never left a review. It was clean, roomy, and felt safe, with public transport close by and Sultanahmet within walking distance. Thanks to Ali Baba for looking after us. Hope to see you again!
