The rooftop was the highlight for me. Breakfast in the sunshine, looking out at the sea, felt special. The food was delicious, especially the French toast and Turkish tea, and it all tasted fresh, including the juicy tomatoes. I booked one night at Cheers Vantage and stayed 12. My room was clean and comfortable, with good airflow and heating, plus a reliably hot shower with strong pressure. It's a peaceful spot with lovely sea views, but still walking distance from lots of historical places. The team were kind, friendly, and helpful, and the guests added to the open, welcoming feel. There's also a very cute dog 🙂. I'm grateful I got to share yoga here, and thankful to the manager for making space for it. Such a lovely, positive place. Highly recommend.

It was easy to explore from this hostel, since everything was within walking distance. The atmosphere was social and friendly, while still being comfortable when I wanted to relax. The welcoming staff and the amazing people I met made it feel like home. I'd definitely stay at Cheers Vintage Hostel again.

The rooftop bar is a great place to meet people, and Peter runs it really well. The beds were comfortable and the rooms clean. Ali and Burak were especially helpful, and the location right next to the Blue Mosque is perfect. I'll be back in a few months.

Traveling solo, I felt right at home here. Everyone was kind and welcoming, and they gave great recommendations. I also had an amazing time on the pub crawl. Burak, our guide, was energetic, fun, and great. Staying here made my Istanbul trip better, and I highly recommend it.

If you're looking for a social hostel where you can meet people, this might suit you. For a city trip with your partner, though, I wouldn't recommend it. We stayed four nights and each got one larger towel, but only for an extra fee. The bathroom was cold, had no heating, and its window wouldn't close. The hot water also kept disappearing. Breakfast was a "Swedish table" with ONE boiled egg, potato salad, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, marmalade, and margarine. An omelette cost extra. If you're after food and accommodation without paying extra for basics, this isn't my recommendation.
