Constantinopolis Hotel

The team at Constantinopolis Hotel were kind and helpful throughout our stay. After checkout, they even held our luggage all day, which let us enjoy the city without worrying about our bags. Such great service, highly recommended!

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. For the same money or less, there are other places with much more respectful service, so don't be swayed by the photos or location. My experience was very unprofessional. When a flight change meant I needed different dates, I asked the hotel and was told to contact Agoda. Agoda confirmed the change with the hotel and updated my booking, but then the hotel refused the modification without giving a clear reason, even though they had first agreed and asked for an extra fee. Their communication was inconsistent and disrespectful. I have all the messages in the app. There are far better options for the same or lower price.

Mustafa, the breakfast manager, made our mornings especially pleasant. I ate breakfast at the hotel all four days, and each time he was welcoming, respectful, kind, and went out of his way to see that we were comfortable and satisfied. The breakfast itself was excellent. We stayed four nights at Hotel Constantanipolis. Our room was good, clean, and comfortable, and housekeeping refreshed it every day, so it was spotless when we got back. I'd definitely recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul.

The area is rough, dirty, smelly, and quite hilly, so be ready for a climb. You may hear the call to prayer, though I didn't find it intrusive, and there were occasional noises at random times day or night that didn't bother me. I booked a standard double for three nights. The room was clean, the shower decent, and the towels fresh. The front desk was always staffed when I came and went. Good hotel with nice staff, though the location may put some people off.
