I booked a non-refundable room through BOOKING.com at the end of November 25. The listing showed air conditioning, but when I arrived, reception told me the hotel had switched to heating for the season and the AC wasn't working. Neither the listing nor the hotel had mentioned this. I left the next day because I couldn't sleep without AC, especially with all the street noise. BOOKING.com refused a refund, saying the hotel had reported that the AC was working properly. I feel this was a fraudulent process involving both Booking.com and the hotel. I couldn't get any more feedback from Booking.com, and they told me not to contact them again about this reservation. I attached photos showing dirt and mold inside the AC units, which they said were working but had been switched to heating for the season. One of the rooms had a split AC as well. Very bad hotel and a very bad choice. BOOKING.com customer service was very bad too.

Getting around was easy, with the metro just five minutes away. The hotel itself was lovely and clean, and the staff were really kind. I'd recommend it to everyone.

Breakfast was amazing, and the room was clean and good, even if it wasn't very big. The location is especially convenient, close to the airport shuttle as well as the tram and metro.

Aksaray turned out to be a great area to stay, with lovely shops, bazaars, and food nearby, and the tram right outside Corner hotel. I stayed for nine days and had a really good experience. The rooms were clean and nice, breakfast had a good range each morning, and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. I'd come back and recommend it to anyone wanting a cheaper option without losing out on the experience. Missing the place already.

Getting to taxis, the metro, and buses was easy from this fantastic location. The room and breakfast were both amazing, and I liked the hotel overall. The staff were the part that let it down for me. Most of the time they seemed unwilling to help, and I didn't even get a hello, welcome, or enjoy your day. Maybe I expected too much as a tourist. They did seem more helpful to people who spoke more Turkish.
