Daphne Hotel

My room looked straight out onto the bosphorus, and I had a really lovely time here. The staff were amazing and offered exceptional service, and breakfast was great too. A very pleasant stay.

Walking around was easy because everything was so close, and the rooms were cozy with the essentials, though small. Breakfast had an impressive range of options for different tastes. Our stay was pleasant overall, but one part of check-in bothered me. After an 8-9 hour flight, we were exhausted and just wanted to settle down. The receptionist seemed more focused on selling tourist activities than getting us into our room. We didn't want to make a fuss on our first day in a foreign country. It was a minor sour note in an otherwise comfortable stay, though the hotel could take guests' travel fatigue into account and make check-in smoother.

The airport transfer wasn't very professional, so the hotel should take a closer look at its partners. That was my one negative point. The staff here were friendly and professional, the rooms clean, and breakfast was good with a nice view. They also helped me find lots of different activities. Strongly recommended, and five stars overall!

The staff were friendly and hospitable, the location was perfect, and my room was a fair size and clean. The bathroom was the main problem: it smelled, and the toilet seat was too high and the wrong size for the toilet. There was also no socket by the table, so I had to plug the kettle in on the floor beside the bed. Not a huge issue, but a socket near the table would've been useful.
