Doruk Palas Hotel

The apartment was great, with amazing views and rooms that were always clean. A lot of the hotel’s charm comes from the cat Osman, who made us laugh so many times. From our arrival at the airport until we left, we felt welcomed and helped with everything. I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels and never had service like this. Every staff member was so pleasant, worked with care, and looked after us throughout. I can’t recommend the place enough!

From our second-floor room, the view was great, and we could close the curtains whenever we wanted. There are two cats that sometimes wander around the lobby, which makes the place feel cozy. The people at the lobby speak English and are very friendly. It’s one of the most welcoming hotels I’ve stayed at, with a friendly atmosphere.

The rooms were kept in good shape, and I appreciated getting upgraded to one with a fantastic view of the old town area. They also had Plug converters for my chargers. Bilal, Ghoshan (may have spelled it incorrectly), and the rest of the staff were welcoming from the start, even greeting me by name when I walked in. The two cats in the lobby were a nice touch. Breakfast was good, though I’d have liked a couple more hot options. There were occasional wifi issues, but not many. When they switched all the rooms to heating for “winter mode,” I wish they’d given me a heads up first; still, they were kind enough to switch my room back to normal mode within a day. For the price and value, I’d definitely recommend this hotel, especially since it’s very close to the galata tower and the old town area. One of the best non-chain hotels I’ve stayed at.

Bilal gave us such a warm welcome when we arrived. His kindness, professionalism, and availability made a real difference and helped us feel at home right away. Doruk Palace Hotel was clean and pleasant, with a great location for exploring Istanbul, and the staff were attentive and ready to help. We had an excellent stay and highly recommend it. We’d be happy to return on our next visit.
