The waterfront view from our balcony was lovely, and the small room worked well since we were out exploring the city. The hotel was clean, nicely decorated, and had thoughtful little extras. Breakfast was just right, and Ümit gave amazing service. The location is near transit, though not close enough to walk to it. We had a great experience.

The breakfast was actually quite good, with a decent choice, but the rest of my stay was a serious letdown. I found bed bugs and woke up with around 20 bites, itching and uncomfortable. It affected the rest of my trip in Turkey and made it hard to relax or enjoy myself. Cleanliness was another problem. The carpets looked dirty and the overall hygiene seemed neglected, as if cleaning and maintenance weren’t being taken seriously. I also felt misled by the Agoda listing. The room description and photos showed a balcony, but on arrival I was told I’d booked a standard room without one. They wanted extra money for an upgrade to a balcony room. Cleanliness and honest listings are basic expectations, and this hotel failed at both. Management needs to address these issues urgently because they can ruin a guest’s trip. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The location was perfect, with everything nearby and easy to reach. The staff were the best, always friendly, smiling, and ready to help. They made our stay comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel!

I stayed five days at Dosso Dossi Yenikapi in Istanbul. The room was good, and the hotel is near the center, with plenty of shops and restaurants around. Breakfast was good and well organized, and reception is open around the clock. A special thank you to Kardelen, who was so friendly. 🤍

Stay away from this hotel. The pictures made it look not too bad, but when we arrived it was completely different. It’s in the middle of a cheap market, with lots of homeless people around, and the area didn’t feel safe at night. The misleading photos gave us the impression it was a decent hotel, but the room didn’t even deserve one star, and we could hear people shouting next door. I canceled as soon as I saw it. YOU’VE BEEN WARNED.
