We lost the first day of our break to this mess. We'd reserved a room a month ahead, but on arrival were told it wasn't available and that we'd get a better two-room option. Instead, there was one bedroom without a window and a supposed living room with a staircase beside the windows. It was terribly dirty, and when we complained, the host looked irritated and showed us another room that was much the same. Only then did they say our original reservation was actually available. The furniture was very old and neglected, and the filth was unbearable. They wouldn't refund the money charged in advance until we argued and threatened to call the police. A very bad experience. I don't recommend it at all.

Save yourself the hassle and stay somewhere else. The place smelled like a sewer, and neither the doors nor the windows locked. A woman traveling alone was told to leave the door open. I was stuck in a room for three hours before anyone came to help. There's nothing good about this cesspool.

I was terrified because there were guys fighting outside, on top of an annoying noise coming from inside the hotel. The sheets were dirty, the fridge hadn't even been emptied before I arrived, and there was black mold everywhere. The hotel was nothing like the pictures I saw, and I'd rate it 0/10. To be fair, the guy working there was really nice and humble.

The apartment was nice for two or three people. The guy there was very humble and polite, and gave us a good discount even though the hotel situation in Taksim was totally jam-packed.

It's only 3-5 minutes from Taksim Square, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were really helpful and friendly. We had a wonderful stay, and I'd love to come back. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful place.
