Galata Dream Hotel

We spent two days there with my girlfriend. The rooms are quite small and intimate, but the staff were amazing, very kind and helpful. The location is pretty good too: Galata Tower is very close, and it's easy to walk to the historical peninsula.

The room was small, clean, and comfortable, about what you'd expect from a 2-star hotel. The avenue noise and strong perfume smell made it hard for me to rest, since I'm autistic and have ADHD and am sensitive to sound and smell. The team immediately offered us a different room for the night and tried hard to make us comfortable. They even brought fruit to help me feel better. In the end, the noise and scent were still a problem, so we moved to another hotel. The manager understood and agreed to a partial refund without any fuss. We only booked Galata Hotel at the last minute, after our original hotel was cancelled while we were at the airport. It turned out to be a good option for the situation. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely caring. Breakfast was lovely, with plenty of food and very good Turkish coffee. Galata Hotel offers good value for money and really caring service for its category. I'd recommend it if you're after a simple, friendly, well-located place with a helpful team. :)

The location was good, but the room was overpriced and its balcony faced loud, busy traffic. The toilet seat was broken, as shown in the picture, and the staff ignored my request to fix it.

The location is the best, and so is the staff. The room is beautiful and breakfast is super delicious. Thank you for everything!
