The rooms clearly aren't new anymore, but I really enjoyed our stay. The staff and service deserve five stars, everyone was super friendly and helpful. They let us wait in the lobby for our night flight and gave us free tea and city tips. The rooftop breakfast terrace is really nice too. The hotel is close to the busy area but stays quiet, except for the very nearby mosque, which you'll definitely hear in the morning.

Breakfast gave us plenty of choices and felt like good value, and our room stayed clean and fresh with daily housekeeping and reliable Wi-Fi. We were also pleased with how quiet the hotel felt despite being in a busy neighborhood. It’s tucked off the main road, about two minutes from Galata Tower, with shops and places to eat all the way toward Taksim Square. Karaköy Station is around a 5-7 minute walk, and the T1 tram from there goes straight to Hagia Sophia. The hotel even checked in a day or two before we arrived to ask about airport pickup. Everyone was warm and professional. Takwa and her male colleague spoke French, Arabic, and German as well as English and Turkish. The soundproofing could be better, though it didn’t disturb our sleep.

We’d book here again. It’s calm, convenient, and feels luxurious, and friends we recommended it to were surprised by how reasonable the prices were. Our room was spacious, modern, and clean, and the multilingual staff were consistently kind. Galata Tower is right nearby, transfers can drop you off easily, and the shops are about a ten-minute walk away. We also felt very safe in the area.

Getting a taxi right to the door can be tricky because the road is narrow and busy, but it was manageable. Otherwise, we had an incredible stay: our room was modern, clean, and comfortable, and breakfast was decent. The hotel has a newer section and a somewhat older one. Galata Tower is only about a two-minute walk away.

The only thing this place had going for it was being near Shishane metro station. My room felt more like a hostel, with worn-out, old furniture that badly needs replacing. The safe wasn’t fixed to anything, so someone could simply take it. The place is crying out for renovation. Breakfast was a huge letdown too. I’d never been asked to pay an extra 200 lira for a fried egg on top of the breakfast charge. It felt absurd. After staying in hundreds of hotels around the world, this was easily my worst experience. I felt robbed and can’t recommend it to anyone.
