With just a week to go before my trip, the hotel cancelled the Booking reservation I’d paid for, saying by email and WhatsApp that it was closed because of an issue with local authorities. I’d made the booking over a month earlier. Afterward, I saw that rooms were still being offered on Booking, but for three times the price. To me, this was a very bad experience and clearly a scam.

A great place to stay, close to all the sights you’ll want to see in Istanbul.

Firuz was especially kind and helpful, which made the stay even better. I had a wonderful time here, with clean, comfortable surroundings and excellent service.

Not having a washing machine was the downside. Still, the location near Taksim is great, the rooms are really nice, and the staff, including the receptionist, were friendly, quick, and helpful. Prices are quite affordable, especially for larger families, with a room for five costing under $150.

The hotel is in a good location, and the reception staff were friendly. My room had broken furniture, and the toilet floor looked dirty and needed renovation. Communication with the cleaners was difficult. During my six-day stay I asked for cleaning once. Afterward, the cleaner left the room door open. I only discovered it at night when I returned, with valuables still inside my locked luggage. I reported it right away to the receptionist, who said they never leave doors open and that there were cameras everywhere. Room cleaning needs improvement, and the cleaners should be friendlier.
