Grand Dedem Hotel

Please don't come here. I'm panicking as I write this. The service was awful, and the receptionist was rude. She called the police on me when I was standing up for my rights. We had to change rooms twice, first because the TV didn't work, then because we found insects. When we went to reception, one staff member had an extra key to our room, snuck in, and stole money from our mini bar, which we only just discovered. I'm shaking. Please don't come.

I had paid for a confirmed reservation through the Agoda app, but after arriving I spent over an hour waiting at reception. The receptionist rudely told me to cancel on Agoda and pay cash. When I refused and filed an objection through the app, they told me there were no rooms. Avoid this kind of scam and choose somewhere else so your trip isn't spoiled by a bad experience.

The hotel may suit solo travelers, but I wouldn't recommend it to families or couples. The hallways smell of cigarettes, and the blonde receptionist was rude. Expect arguments, and don't expect customer service. They don't mind shouting at you in front of other people.

The room was very dirty, and they hadn't even changed the bedding. Reception didn't know English at all, and the price he gave us was higher than the one our Turkish friend had arranged. We decided to leave for another hotel after 30 minutes, but he wouldn't refund us. After a brief conversation, he took out a wooden stick to kick us. Be careful.
