The room was small but laid out so well that it was functional and comfortable to live in. The bed was excellent, the bathroom had enough space, and the street was fairly quiet near Taksim Square. Breakfast had a fairly wide selection, though the food was just okay. Sleep was harder because the room wouldn’t ventilate properly. The vent kept blowing warm air even with Cool selected, and the window didn’t open far enough to air things out. It did let in music beats, which didn’t help. Reception said it was due to winter and they couldn’t do anything, although the common areas felt cool and aired out. If that was the reason, whoever decided to turn off the cooling wasn’t smart. A few bad things spoiled a lot of good ones.

The location was a real plus for our family, with the metro, Istiklal Street, restaurants and shops easy to reach. There’s a 24/7 mini market right across from Lamartine Hotel and a pharmacy nearby, both helpful when traveling with family. Staff were polite and helpful, and breakfast had a reasonable variety and was decent. We visited in December 2025 and had a connected room, which was convenient and comfortable. It was a fair size, and the very clean bathroom had a hot tub, a nice extra after long days walking. Even so close to Taksim Square, the rooms stayed quiet and well maintained. Good value for a central, comfortable family stay.

The one weak point was housekeeping. The cleaning wasn’t consistent: sometimes they did a good job and changed our slippers, other times they didn’t. Once, after cleaning, they left the sink plug closed with water sitting in the sink. Breakfast, on the other hand, was free and had lots of choices, with great service. We enjoyed eating there. The reception staff were very nice too, and gave us Turkish blue eyes at the end of our stay.

The bellboy was especially friendly and helpful, and the service in general was very good. The location was convenient, and everything felt clean, safe and well maintained. I had a great stay and felt secure throughout. I’d definitely recommend this hotel.

The room was new, clean and nice, though a little small. The location is amazing, about three minutes from Taksim Square and Istiklal Street.
