the business class suit karkoy

The host was really helpful with local tips, and the flat felt like a home away from home. It was spotless and nicely decorated. Karaköy is a great base, with cafes, galleries, and restaurants right nearby. I had a fantastic stay.

I had a very poor stay and would avoid this property. The room needs a complete renovation: the furniture was broken, the boiler leaked and flooded the floor, and the wallpaper near it was peeling with signs of mould. The towels they gave me were stained and dirty. Communication with staff was difficult because their English was very limited.

We waited an hour to check in, then found an apartment that was falling apart and badly unclean. The wallpaper was coming off, furniture had cigarette burns and smelled of smoke, and the lamps kept flickering. The iron was falling apart in my hand and I nearly got electrocuted. It needs a full renovation. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The reception lady was wonderful and always willing to help when I needed things. The location was also a big plus, with transport links close by, shops and restaurants all around, and the sea and several sights within walking distance. The room had some drawbacks for the price. The bathroom shower was very cramped, and the WiFi kept cutting out. Noise came from both the road and inside the building at all hours. The boiler in a living room cupboard also made loud noises at random times during the night.
