The location was good, and at least it was cheap, so maybe you get what you pay for. The elevators were both broken, and their doors still opened onto an empty shaft, which was a pretty grim view. The VIP lounge ceiling also leaked, like an indoor water feature in a basement spa. The balcony door in our room opened by itself every day in the wind. At night, wind whistled through the ceiling, and the soundproofing might as well have been nonexistent. I heard everything, so sleep was out of the question. Breakfast was rough. Coffee was the highlight, though it tasted like betrayal. Credit to the breakfast staff, who were absolute legends in a culinary war zone. If you want the live escape room experience, with worse breakfast, Grand Star Hotel Premium in Istanbul has you covered. Just hope you don’t fall down the elevator shaft.

The sea-view rooms, breakfast, and hotel staff were good. But our first room was at the bottom of the building, beside the housekeeper's room and a noisy elevator, and its Wi-Fi didn't work. The front desk and technician couldn't fix it. They kept saying they'd do something, but I had to go back and ask five times before anyone started. There was only one small elevator working, so getting around took time. Breakfast was identical each day; more fruit, cakes, and drink choices would help. The pool wasn't clean, and the area was dark.

The location is great, with transport available and everything close by. Breakfast was well done, and safety felt like a 10/10. The service was amazing, especially Behniz, who was so helpful and friendly.

After the hotel told us it was undergoing renovation following a fire, almost nothing seemed to work. The elevators were out of order and there was no water in the bathroom, not even to flush the toilet. We couldn't get help, a refund, or a better room. Staff ignored us as if we weren't there, and every couple of hours we were told the manager was coming, but nobody came. The owner came by but didn't speak English; we were still waiting for someone who could help. We couldn't leave a review on Booking, so I'm posting it here. If you can, don't waste your money here.
