Green Garden Hotel

Getting around was easy, with the bus and metro station right nearby. The area is lively, but my ground-floor single room at the back stayed quiet at night. It was comfortable and had enough space for one person. Housekeeping is by request, so I asked before heading out and came back to a cleaned room. I had a lovely stay at this small hotel, and the staff were so friendly.

The internet and air-conditioning both worked very well. The room and furniture looked nice at first, but I found three cockroaches. Since I couldn’t get a refund and had paid for the stay, I stayed and tried to deal with them using insect spray.

The room was clean, and I heard from friends that some of the other rooms don’t have mold. Mine did, though, and I couldn’t get past the mold in the bathroom. The hotel wasn’t so bad otherwise, but it’s also quite far from the city’s tourist attractions.

I felt safe staying here by myself as a woman, and I’d happily book it again when I return to Istanbul. The staff were kind and always ready to help. My room was modern, with everything I needed and a very large bathroom. It’s right in central Şirinevler, close to shops, the metrobus and the metro train. I’d absolutely recommend it, even to someone travelling alone. Thanks for being so kind :)
