The guys were welcoming and dealt with the problems right away, but I still expected better cleanliness and fewer room issues for the price. None of the individual problems ruined our trip, but they weren’t pleasant, and there were several over our five days in Istanbul. My mom and I were first put in a small room beside what I think was the staff bathroom. There was water damage in one corner and the ceiling was coming off. When we asked, the receptionist kindly moved us to a larger, better room. But the sink and shower there wouldn’t drain at first, though that was fixed by the end of the day. The room wasn’t really cleaned the next day or generally during our stay. The mirror was already very dirty and stayed that way for all five days. There was no soap in the dispenser, so we used the complimentary shampoo to wash our hands. One night we returned to find the power out.

The service was brilliant, the place immaculate, and the two young men were amazing. I didn’t realize there was a restaurant on the top floor until I was leaving, which was a shame. Thanks to hanpoint hotel for the hospitality, I’ll definitely be back soon. The location makes getting around easy. It’s about three minutes from Beyazit main road and the tram station, with the Grand Bazaar on the main square and plenty of businesses nearby. Go right from the main road and attractions like haggia Sofia, blue mosque, and Topkapi palace are around a ten-minute walk. To the left, Laleli station and lots of restaurants and shops are about five minutes away. Further down is lively Aksaray, where things are a bit cheaper than in other areas, and you can catch a bus to IST airport for £6. I had a pleasant stay.

As a woman traveling alone, I felt safe and treated with real respect. Tayfun was especially polite, helpful, and knowledgeable about the city. The staff were so courteous that the hotel felt like a safe haven. It’s very central, with all the tourist attractions within walking distance. This will be my place to stay every time I’m in Istanbul, and I’d recommend it to any visitor.

The staff, especially Davide and the owner, made us feel welcome and helped with tour bookings. It’s in a great spot, near the train and tram, with attractions in walking distance. Our room was comfortable and well supplied, and the hotel was clean, tidy, and affordable. We’d definitely return.

The reception has a free coffee machine, and the maids came daily to clean and restock bottled water, toilet paper, and fresh towels. The reception guys were attentive throughout and helped with everything, from places to visit and eat to offering us pills when we had a cold. We were greeted warmly when we arrived, and our room was clean and in good condition. I recommend this hotel to anyone.
